The Big Bad Woof is a community resource for companion animals and their guardians.
The Montgomery County Humane Society in Rockville, is a non-profit organization that has provided animal sheltering services since 1958. The organization’s urgent mission is to protect the unwanted, abandoned and abused animals of Montgomery County and beyond. MCHS shelters approximately 8,000 animals and services the animal-related needs of approximately 100,000 people annually. Animals up for adoption include dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, reptiles and livestock. Visit www.mchumane.org to see adoptable animals and for more information on programs and services.
